Empowerment and confidence
Empowerment is the one character trait that a preschool student cannot go without. We believe an empowered student will:

There are several ways that we instill confidence in our preschool students. First of all, we make kindergarten readiness our top priority. If we can give our preschool students the tools to be successful, then we’re setting them up to be a star in their class.

Why “Bodies in Motion”
Sir Isaac Newton (1643–1727) was a brilliant man. So brilliant, that we adopted his 1st Law of Motion as the name of our organization, and the philosophy driving the physical aspect of our preschool curriculum. Not only do we believe that “A body in motion, will stay in motion, unless acted upon by an equal and opposite force”, but that a brain will do the same thing.
If we can teach a child through activities, experiences, and field trips we will all watch your child grow leaps and bounds in kindergarten preparedness. Our most important goal is to serve the needs of your child while promoting a healthy and active lifestyle. Your child will feel comfortable, needed, accepted and most of all loved. Bodies in Motion will implement a value-based curriculum.
Children should have FUN! And, children should experience MOTION! Your child’s day will be filled with a curriculum that encourages them to become confident, independent learners.

Our Bodies in Motion teachers are highly dedicated and appropriately educated in order to provide our children with the ultimate care. Emphasis is placed on a caring and loving environment away from home. We are committed to enriching children’s lives socially, emotionally, intellectually, and physically in an atmosphere that enhances creativity and self-confidence.
We keep our ratio at 8:1 to ensure each child is supported in their learning. Our curriculum is designed with developmentally appropriate activities. We encourage them towards challenging, yet attainable goals.

How do you prepare children for kindergarten?
Kindergarten readiness is our top priority. Children work on expressing and managing big emotions, personal care, recognizing and writing their first name, sorting by size, color and shape, recognizing shapes, colors, numbers and letters, patterns, rhyming sounds and syllables, cutting with scissors, gripping crayons, markers and pencils, recognizing common sight words, following simple directions and routines, and problem solving.
How does the preschool curriculum work?
Bodies in Motion implements a value-based curriculum. We teach children through activities, experiences and field trips, and your child’s day is filled with a curriculum that encourages them to become confident, independent learners.
How do I schedule a preschool tour?
Tours are private and are available at 10:30 am or 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Step 1: decide whether you can meet at 10:30 am or 5:00 pm. Step 2: register through our online scheduler, then come on in.
Which areas do families come from?
Our only location is 729 W. Diamond St. in Boise. We serve families from Boise, Meridian and Garden City.
